Biodiversity in Kanazawa - Book
This is the book that completed the video documentary "A Book of Seasons - A Year in Kanazawa". A research project by the United Nations University, Ishikawa - Kanazawa Unit.
The book was made by the Media Centre, Office of Communications team in Tokyo during 2010.

Book of Seasons A Year in Kanazawa
Book of Seasons A Year in Kanazawa is a documentary produced by The United Nations University.
I worked on the package design of the DVD, the book written by UNU researchers, a poster and a flyer for the presentation of the movie in the city of Kanazawa in Japan.
The music of the documentary was composed by me with exception of two songs where my brother helped me with the arrangements for 2 traditional Japanese children songs.

Ten Years of Music
This is a compilation of many tracks and songs I made since the year 2003. Some are real soundtracks for documentaries of the United Nations University and some are songs composed, arranged and produced with my brother Daniel and other friends like Dany Loyo as part of the band "Radar".
I worked with various singers including my brother's wife Shenny Lopez, my friends Gaby Vega and Adriana Rodriguez.

I wish I could spend more time to make long tracks of each one of the short pieces for the documentaries, but time has a limit on the Video-Documentary industry and many pieces never were finished on my point of view, just abandoned, or delivered at the time.

OurWorld 2.0 Web Magazine
Our World was first launched in July 2008 primarily as an environmental magazine focused on solutions to global challenges of climate change, energy, food security, and biodiversity loss. Though it no longer does, Our World’s name originally included “2.0″ at the end of it because it was launched at a time when the internet was transforming into something known as Web 2.0. We too wanted to harness the new power of online sharing, co-creation, and emerging social media to entice readers to help us find sign posts to an improved version of the world.
After more than five years, over 700 articles and 65 video briefs, Our World was re-launched on 1 November 2013 with a completely new design and expanded topics to improve coverage of the work of the United Nations in tackling pressing global problems.
Our World is produced by the UNU Office of Communications team in Tokyo. Since the first article, the magazine has been dedicated to bilingual publishing in English and Japanese, and has become one of UNU’s key communication platforms with our Japanese hosts as well as millions of readers worldwide.

Código is a bimonthly publication that deals with the latest trends in contemporary art, fashion, design, architecture and style.
Código became the leading publication on the field and so far is one of the few magazines that resist the past of time, trends and the Editorial crisis.
I was approached back in 2004 by Ricardo Porrero the Editor and owner of the magazine to re-design the whole layout and design of the magazine.
I was very excited with the idea of redesign the Header of the magazine and in that way the Código Font was born.

Stories from a Biodiverse World
Film Festival Flyer and DVD materials made for the Convention on Biological Diversity in Aichi, Nagoya, Japan in October 2010 (COP10).
The Art concept of Stories from a Biodiverse World came from the Japanese tradition of the dragonfly associated with summer and early autumn. Dragonflies are symbols of courage, strength, and happiness, and they often appear in art and literature, especially haiku.
The main image is a combination of photo and digital illustration.

UNU Media Studio 2007 2011
The UNU Media Studio On-Line Learning Unit was established in March 2003 and worked in collaboration with a global network of partners to develop and share open educational resources. Through a small team based in Tokyo, the UNU Media Studio promoted innovation in the building of interactive content and video documentaries that engage, entertain and educate.
In 2011 the UNU Media Studio evolved into the Office of Communications of the United Nations University.

Our World 2.0 web magazine reaches a broad cross-section of public, private, and academic audiences. Our key community consists of "influential leaders of the future", predominantly 25- to 45-year-olds, from both developing and developed countries.

Indigenous Voices on Climate Change
During the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen COP15 on December 2009, the United Nations University organized a Film Festival at the National Museum of Denmark called Indigenous Voices on Climate Change.
As an alternative to the different expressions from the governments of the world, the voice and proposal of The United Nations University was this film festival with special indigenous guests.
The main photo of the poster was took by the Documentary Producer-Director Citt Williams.
My work on this project was to design all the different promotional materials for the conference that included, poster, flyers, DVD and bookmarks.

The UNU Conversation Series was launched in 2013 as a collection of interviews with leading thinkers from around the world who have been invited to speak at the UNU Centre in Tokyo about pressing global issues of relevance to the United Nations and the member states.

Art Exhibition - Bancomer
This is the work to promote an Art Exhibition called Salon de Arte ran by the Bancomer Cultural Foundation (Fundación Cultural Bancomer) a Mexican Bank who organized a contest every year in order to select the artists and the graphic designer of the whole project.
The project included, the catalog of the event, posters, spectaculars, and invitation to the inauguration.
The theme of the exhibition was the mix of techniques on art who started to be more and more prominent on 2005. The illustration mixed old machinery technology from early 1900's with computer technology on a monster machine that became the new art of that era.
